Mike Krell has spent more then 25 years designing, developing and implementing marketing and communications plans that increase companies reputation and visibility, and increase revenues.
Mike was formerly the sr. director of corporate communications and business development for Alereon a leading innovator in the Ultrawideband market. Mike oversaw all aspects of Alereon’s corporate communications, including branding and positioning, web site development, media/analyst relations, technical communications, trade show activities, advertising, direct mail and collateral development.
Mike has spent more than 25 years involved in all facets of marketing, from pricing and promotion through developing strategic business plans for both large, multi-national corporations as well as dedicated Internet businesses. Prior to joining Alereon, Mike was the director of corporate communications for Legerity, a leading supplier of IC’s for the telecommunications market. Prior to Legerity, Mike was vice president of marketing and business development for TheResidentClub, a leading supplier of private-labeled, Web-based communities for real estate operating and financial services companies. He was responsible for defining and generating TRC’s product offerings including Web site development and content relationships, as well as directing the efforts for sponsors and local partners.
Previously, Mike served as an independent consultant and a principal and founder of the Customer Manufacturing Group, focusing on Internet sales and marketing. His clients included Transmeta Corporation, SCG Realty (now Archstone), the Internet Coupon Network and Calendar Club.
Mike spent the majority of his career at AMD where he held a variety of key marketing positions. His responsibilities included developing strategic business directions for various product groups within the PC and telecom markets, managing AMD’s tradeshow and training programs, and developing an Internet strategy and roadmap for the company’s processor group. Mike holds a BS degree in electrical engineering and a BS in computer engineering from the University of Michigan.
